Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team.
• Train, and supervise engineering staff, ensuring high levels of performance.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the department.
• Oversee the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Ensure the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Develop and maintain a safety program, including regular training for engineering staffs.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for engineering-related incidents.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and warranties.
• Prepare regular reports on the performance and status of engineering operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest concerns related to maintenance and engineering issues.
• Strive to enhance the overall guest experience by maintaining a well-functioning and aesthetically pleasing environment.
